By completing your online registration to participate in a conference you automatically confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions laid out in this document so entitled as posted on this website.
Nomenclature
The term “organising coordination” is used here to refer to all colleagues who at any time have carried, are carrying or will carry out planning, preparation, administration, organisation, coordination in the name of the “Worldwide Biography Conference”.
The term “conference” is used here to refer to the organising coordination and participants of any conference including all pre‑conference and post conference activities carried out in the name of the Worldwide Biography Conference.
Individual Participation
You work professionally with biographical development based on spiritual science. You are willing to participate in and contribute to a conference programme and communal processes designed to facilitate collegial sharing of professional experience, research and development.
You accept full responsibility for your personal psychic and physical well-being and for informing the organising coordination about any relevant medical issues. By completing your registration to participate in a conference you automatically confirm your unconditional agreement to relieve without exception all persons involved with the organising coordination of a conference from all liabilities arising in any way connected to your participation before, during and after a conference programme.
Individual participation requires that you are personally and solely responsible for completing your registration. It is not permissible that another person, an organisation or an institution enact a registration on your behalf.
Languages and Interpreting
The conference language is English. Amplified multi-channel wireless audio transmission is provided to aid simultaneous interpreting in both directions in plenary sessions only.
WBC coordination encourages participants representing major language groupings to arrange for participation of colleagues with interpreting skills, who can use the wireless audio equipmentor act as 'whisper interpreters’ in plenum or working groups.
Working groups are offered in the language of their facilitator/s. WBC proactively coordinates participation so as to optimize interpreting possibilities.
A group of participating colleagues may bring a professional interpreter at their own expense strictly by prior arrangement with the organising coordination. In all other respects participants are solely responsible for arranging “whisper interpreting” in any and all working groups, in all plenary sessions. To the best of its ability the organising coordination gathers information about, and mediates contact to, possible “whisper interpreting” groups.
Financial Contribution
You can only participate in a conference by registering online and completing online payment of your chosen financial contribution to the costs of a current conference. The organising coordination cannot modify or waive currently published contributions or in any other way provide or mediate sponsorship, bursaries and the like. Colleagues are encouraged to network locally and regionally in the context of establishing professional continuity and solidarity; for example, to source professional funding and sponsorship, as well as to evaluate the individual merit of conference participation in alignment with the needs and possibilities of local and regional professional associations and communities.
You understand that the organising coordination of a conference set the amount of Basic, Standard and Solidarity financial contributions based on a budget entirely according to its sole discretion. The budget is always determined by the unique circumstances of the venue, its location and the timing. The Standard contribution is calculated to cover real costs based on a minimum number of participants, whilst the Basic contribution is offered as a gesture of good will to colleagues who conscientiously choose a discount and the Solidarity contribution is proposed as an opportunity for colleagues to conscientiously support the intention of the Basic contribution by way of a gift.
You understand that organisational coordination of a conference is a service of professional colleagues who are entitled to receive compensation for all material and administrative expenses incident to their services. Furthermore, you understand that the organising coordination of a conference also budgets in such a way as to uphold, maintain and promote the integrity, continuity and evolution of the Worldwide Biography Conference community past, present and future.
Communal Commitment
For a cancellation contact us by email to biographyworkjapan@gmail.com for any cancellation received latest 23:59 (JST) on 30th of September 2024, your contribution is refunded excluding JPY 20,000 for administration fee; thereafter, no refund is possible.
If at any time you communicate via email your intention to transfer your commitment to participate in a conference to an as yet to that date unregistered colleague, once the colleague named by you has completed full registration you will receive a reimbursement of your contribution less hundred euros to cover costs of administration.
The organisational coordination of a conference evaluates each withdrawal of a registration individually and may modify individual reimbursements entirely according to its discretion taking into account both the circumstances of a conference as well as of a withdrawal. All reimbursements are carried out in the most cost effective way entirely at the sole discretion of the organisational coordination of a conference.
The organisational coordination of a conference reserves the right to annul any registration at any time entirely according to its sole discretion without obligation to justify or otherwise provide any reason for doing so. In the unlikely event that this would be necessary the organisational coordination of a conference will liaise directly with the person responsible for having made the registration and in such a case will make a full refund of the payment made at the time of registration excluding any third party fees or charges levied in the course of carrying out the reimbursement.
Professional Profile
By completing your registration to participate in a conference you automatically agree that the organising coordination can share all or any part of your professional profile publically online at any time and also in printed form with colleagues currently participating a conference. Your personal and professional data are at all times secured according to European guidelines for data protection.
At any time by writing an email you can request deletion of your personal and professional data held by any website or database being administrated in the name of the Worldwide Biography Conference. By completing your registration to participate in a conference you automatically confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy declaration posted on this website.
These terms and conditions are subject to alteration at any time. Any such alterations first become immediately effective after midnight of the day during which they are posted on on this website.
You are heartily invited to submit by email your observations, comments, suggestions and recommendations concerning the formulation of these Terms and Conditions. Der Begriff „organisatorische Koordination“ bezieht sich hier auf alle Kollegen, die jederzeit im Namen der „Weltweiten Biographie Konferenz“ Planung, Vorbereitung, Verwaltung, Organisation oder Koordinierung durchgeführt haben, durchführen oder durchführen werden.
Der Begriff „Konferenz“ bezieht sich hier auf die organisatorische Koordination und die Teilnehmer jeder Konferenz, einschliesslich aller Aktivitäten vor und nach der Konferenz, die im Namen der Weltweiten Biographie Konferenz durchgeführt werden.
Individuelle Teilnahme
Sie arbeiten professionell mit biographischer Entwicklung, auf Grundlage der Geisteswissenschaft. Sie sind bereit zur Teilnahme und zu einem Beitrag am Konferenzprogramm und an den kommunalen Prozessen, die gestaltet sind, um den kollegialen Austausch von Berufserfahrung, Forschung und Entwicklung zu ermöglichen.
Sie übernehmen die volle Verantwortung für Ihre persönliche psychische und physische Gesundheit und dafür, die organisatorische Koordination über relevante medizinische Probleme zu informieren. Mit dem Abschluss Ihrer Registration zur Teilnahme an einer Konferenz bestätigen Sie automatisch Ihre uneingeschränkte Zustimmung, ohne Ausnahme, alle an der organisatorischen Koordination einer Konferenz beteiligten Personen von allen Haftungen zu entlasten, die in irgendeiner Weise im Zusammenhang mit Ihrer Teilnahme vor, während und nach einem Konferenzprogramm entstehen.
Individuelle Teilnahme verlangt, dass Sie persönlich und allein für den Abschluss Ihrer Registration verantwortlich sind. Es ist nicht zulässig, dass eine andere Person, Organisation oder Institution in Ihrem Namen die Registration vornimmt.
Sprachen und Dolmetschen
Sie verstehen, dass die Plenen einer Konferenz offiziell nur in englischer und deutscher Sprache abgehalten werden. Während der Plenen einer Konferenz wird dafür gesorgt, dass ein simultanes Dolmetschen der englischen und deutschen Sprache in beide Richtungen in professionellem Standard und durch verstärkte drahtlose Mehrkanal-Audioübertragung bereitgestellt wird. Teilnehmende Kollegen, die „Flüsterdolmetschen“ anbieten, können die technischen Einrichtungen des Plenums ausschliesslich nach alleinigem Ermessen der organisatorischen Koordination nutzen.
Ein professioneller Dolmetscher kann auf eigene Kosten von einer Gruppe von teilnehmenden Kollegen unbedingt nach vorheriger Absprache mit der organisatorischen Koordination mitgebracht werden. Im Übrigen sind die Teilnehmer allein dafür verantwortlich, „Flüsterdolmetschen“ in allen Arbeitsgruppen, in allen anderen Sessions ausserhalb der Plenen und auch für alle anderen Sprachen in den Plenen einer Konferenz zu arrangieren. Nach besten Kräften sammelt die organisatorische Koordination entsprechende Informationen und vermittelt den Kontakt zu möglichen Gruppen, die „Flüsterdolmetschen“ in anderen Sprachen nutzen.
Finanzieller Beitrag
Sie können nur an einer Konferenz teilnehmen, indem Sie sich online registrieren und den von Ihnen gewählten finanziellen Beitrag zu den Kosten einer aktuellen Konferenz online bezahlen. Die organisatorische Koordination kann keine aktuell veröffentlichten Beiträge ändern oder auf sie verzichten oder sonst Förderung, Stipendien und dergleichen anbieten oder vermitteln. Die Kollegen werden aufgefordert, sich lokal und regional zur Etablierung professioneller Kontinuität und Solidarität zu vernetzen, zum Beispiel um professionelle Finanzierung und Förderung zu beschaffen sowie um den individuellen Nutzen einer Konferenzteilnahme im Einklang mit den Bedürfnissen und Möglichkeiten lokaler und regionaler professioneller Vereinigungen und Gemeinschaften einzuschätzen.
Sie verstehen, dass die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz die Höhe der Grund-, Standard- und Solidaritätsbeiträge auf Basis eines Budgets ausschliesslich nach alleinigem Ermessen bestimmt. Das Budget wird immer durch die besonderen Umstände des Veranstaltungsortes, seines Standortes und des Zeitpunktes bestimmt. Der Standardbeitrag wird zur Deckung der Realkosten auf der Grundlage einer Mindestteilnehmerzahl berechnet, während der Basisbeitrag den Kollegen, die gewissenhaft einen Rabatt wählen, als Geste des guten Willens angeboten wird, und der Solidaritätsbeitrag Kollegen als Gelegenheit vorgeschlagen wird, die Intention des Grundbeitrags durch eine Spende gewissenhaft zu fördern.
Sie verstehen, dass die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz ein Dienst von Fachkollegen ist, die Anspruch auf Entschädigung für alle materiellen und administrativen Kosten haben, die mit ihrem Dienst verbunden sind. Ausserdem verstehen Sie, dass die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz auch in solcher Weise wirtschaftet, dass die Aufrechterhaltung, Instandhaltung und Förderung der Integrität, Kontinuität und Entwicklung der Gemeinschaft der Weltweiten Biographie Konferenz für Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft gewährleistet ist.
Kommunale Verpflichtung
Durch Ihre Registration für die Teilnahme an einer Konferenz verpflichten Sie sich, die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz zu unterstützen und die Vernetzung der Konferenzgemeinschaft zu fördern. Sie können Ihre Teilnahme an einer Konferenz jederzeit per Email widerrufen.
Bei einem Rücktritt von Ihrer Registration vor Mitternacht am einunddreissigsten Tag vor Mitternacht des Tages vor Beginn der Konferenz erhalten Sie eine Erstattung Ihres Beitrags abzüglich fünfzig Euro zur Deckung von Verwaltungskosten.
Bei einem Rücktritt von Ihrer Registration vor Mitternacht am einundzwanzigsten Tag vor Mitternacht des Tages vor Beginn einer Konferenz erhalten Sie eine Erstattung von zwei Dritteln Ihres Beitrags.
Bei einem Rücktritt von Ihrer Registration vor Mitternacht am elften Tag vor Mitternacht des Tages vor Beginn einer Konferenz erhalten Sie eine Erstattung von einem Drittel Ihres Beitrags.
Ein Rücktritt von Ihrer Registration nach Mitternacht am elften Tag vor Mitternacht des Tages vor Beginn einer Konferenz führt zum vollständigen Verlust Ihres Beitrags.
Wenn Sie zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt per Email mitteilen, dass Sie Ihre Verpflichtung zur Teilnahme an einer Konferenz an eine bis zu diesem Datum nicht registrierte Kollegin oder Kollegen übertragen möchten, erhalten Sie nach Abschluss der vollständigen Registration der von Ihnen benannten Kollegin oder Kollegen eine Erstattung Ihres Beitrags abzüglich fünfzig Euro zur Deckung der Verwaltungskosten.
Die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz begutachtet jeden Rücktritt von einer Registration individuell und kann einzelne Erstattungen ausschliesslich nach alleinigem Ermessen unter Berücksichtigung sowohl der Umstände einer Konferenz als auch des entsprechenden Rücktritts vollständig ändern. Alle Kostenerstattungen werden auf kosteneffiziente Weise durchgeführt, die ausschliesslich in alleinigem Ermessen der organisatorischen Koordination einer Konferenz liegt.
Die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz behält sich das Recht vor, eine Registrierung jederzeit nach eigenem Ermessen zu annullieren, ohne Verpflichtung, dies zu begründen oder anderweitig zu erklären. In dem unwahrscheinlichen Fall, dass dies erforderlich sein sollte, wird die organisatorische Koordination einer Konferenz sich direkt mit der für die Registration verantwortlichen Person in Verbindung setzen und die zum Zeitpunkt der Registration geleistete Zahlung voll zurückerstatten, mit Ausnahme von etwaigen im Zuge der Rückerstattung erhobenen Gebühren oder sonstigen Lasten von Drittparteien.
