Experience and Specialisation:
My professional career started in the classroom, teaching middle school children, but soon lead me to working with their parents. This lead me toward adult education and eventually into professional trainings in art therapy and Biography work. As my work was based in Anthroposophy I developed my own schooling process out of the inspiration of Anthroposophy and developed a training in "Art in the Healing and Social Fields" in Toronto. This three year program was delivered over the course of 33 years in many places, including the US and UK.
Currently I have returned more to art making, both in my own practise as well as by offering a course called FIND YOUR ARTIST-CHANGE THE WORLD. My interest lies in contemporary art practise and an expanded understanding of art, social art and 'changing the world through art'. (Sir Herbert Read, Christine Gruwez)
'I' on the Path:
I had the privilege to share some of my courses with Biography colleagues at WWBCes in previous years and this year will be offering a course that has arisen out of my research into a circular chart in Biography, that can be of particular interest to younger people and in situations of immediate need.
Biography and research/experiences in the years beyond 63 and much older, interests me. I have done a couple of such courses, working with transpersonal planets and also with Fairy Tales but would be interested in hearing how colleagues approach those years. I could see an interesting conference by addressing the 'old' and 'young' generation and looking into differences in our approaches and questions toward life...Or deliberately working in pairs or small groups of such constellations for mutual growth and inspiration.
