I have an ongoing interest in the connection between science and spirituality.
This has lead to visiting fellowships at Schumacher college Devon.
I am continuing to write on the use and abuse of metaphor in science.
'I' on the Path:
At this time of gross materialism, social vulgarity and spiritual aridity, I am interested in drawing out the true majesty of our scientific understanding. We can draw on the unfolding myth as a grand narrative that provides people with a placement in space and time and the ground of being. The epic of evolution is science translated into a meaningful story. I am influenced by people like Stuart Kaufmann (Beyond Reductionism: Reinventing the Sacred) and Ursula Goodenough (The Sacred Emergence of Nature).
