Biographical Training
The foundation of Biographical Formation can be found in the work of the Austrian philosopher and initiate Rudolf Steiner. The first book to deal directly with the subject, "The Stages of Life", was written by Dutch psychiatrist Bernard Livegoed, but there are currently nine books on the subject in Brazil by Dr Gudrun Burkhard, published in Portuguese by Editora Antroposófica.
BIOGRAPHIC is a review of one's own individual history in search of the inner strengths needed to take life into one's own hands. Based on the teachings of anthroposophy, an approach to human biography has emerged, considering it as an inexhaustible source of forces favourable to self-development and healing. Biographical work is an aid for anyone who wants to deepen their self-knowledge and, at the same time, develop an interest in and understanding of other people and their life situations. It highlights the bright and dark sides of each biography, making them conscious and allowing people to integrate them into their own story, recognising the real value of these events. This is done through stories and examples drawn from concrete life situations.
